Our competitive foil, epee and saber fencing program is targeted at improvement and development of skills, techniques, strategies and tactical development of the fencers. We offer instruction geared toward growth, development and competition, including bout-related drills and regular electric bouting opportunities.
The foil and epee classes are 2 hours in duration and include drills against the target, drills in pairs, coordination and reflex exercises, and bouting.
The saber class is 1.5 hours in duration and includes drills against the targets, drills in pairs, coordination and reflex exercises, and bouting.
Students must arrive 20 to 30 minutes prior to class for warm-ups.
Prerequisites: Please, discuss with the coach prior to registration. Minimum 1 year of fencing, USFA Competitive Membership, TFC Membership and a desire to improve. Full fencing gear (under-arm protector, chest protector, jacket, glove, mask, knickers and electric gear) is required.
