COVID-19 FAQ

COVID-19 & The Club FAQ

We want to create the lowest risk setting possible for our club members, campers and coaches.  Our club and our camps follow the guidance that was put out by the CDC, ACA and state of Virginia.  We are also following the Return to Fencing Guidelines from USA Fencing.

Could Camp Be Cancelled (Again)?

Yes, that is always a possibility.  We do not expect it, but if we are closed we will refund or rebook all the enrolled campers.  Our refund policy allows you to cancel for any reason up to 14 days before the start of your camp, and at any time if you are cancelling due to Covid-19.

What are your sanitation protocols?

We will be cleaning and disinfecting the club before and after every camp and class.

• Archery campers will use the same bow and arrows during the camp day, and they will be disinfected at the end of camp.  Archery campers will receive their own archery glove.

• Fencing Skills campers will be assigned their own uniform which will be cleaned at the end of the week.
Masks and weapons will be cleaned daily.

• Club members will provide their own uniforms, masks and gloves. Equipment is available for sale at the club store, if needed.

What are the Members Responsibilities?

  • Stay home if you are experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms.
  • Come to the club already dressed in freshly washed workout clothing.
  • Wash you uniform after every wearing. No uniforms may be left at the club.
  • Do not share equipment.
  • Wear a face mask even under your mask.
  • Bring your own water.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Bring your own hand sanitizer and wipes for wiping down your own equipment.

Are there additional health screenings?

We will also be doing a contactless temperature check and health screening on all campers, staff and members upon their arrival.  If you have had a close contact with a Covid positive person, please quarantine for 10 days or until you have had a negative test result.

What else are you doing?

•  All club members and campers are asked to keep a 6' distance from each other during camp and club.

•  Wear a face mask at all times.

•  We increased the ventilation in our 10,000 ft. club by adding wall mounted fans and opening the doors.

•  The size of our camp is limited to 36 campers, who will be broken up into 12 person pods during the camp.

 What else should I do?

  • Self-Monitor and be symptom free for 10 days before returning to the club.
  • Stay home if you have had close contact with anyone who was sick or believed to have Covid-19.
  • Stay home if you don't feel well.
  • Wash or sanitize your hands often.
  • Avoid touching your face, eyes or mouth.
  • Practice social distancing.
  • Cough into your elbow.
  • Sign the Covid-19 waiver.
