Adult Archery Classes

In addition to receiving clear instruction and coaching via our National Training System, membership in an archery program provides unique benefits to adults, including the opportunity to make new friends, a great upper-body workout, and the chance to build self-confidence, and learn team-building skills. We coach barebow, Olympic recurve and compound.

JOAD and Adult Archery

A combined all ages class. Work on refining your shooting skills, while learning the NTS shot cycle. Enrollment is on the coaches recommendation. Your own equipment is required.

Outdoor Archery

Go Outside and Shoot. Get ready for outdoor season with our 1.5 hour outdoor class. This is a combined age class that will start in April and finish in August with Summer Nationals. Nova Membership required.

Team Artemis

A women's only team for older teens and adults who want to focus on improvement. Coached by USA Archery barebow team member, Susan Snider. Enrollment is with the Coach's approval. Your own equipment is required.

Adult Archery 2

An advanced class for Adults or Adults with their children. Enrollment is on a coaches recommendation A minimum shooting score, knowledge of the shot cycle, and your own equipment are required.

What to expect

We coach barebow, Olympic recurve and compound shooting disciplines. Adult 2 classes are filled by the coaches invitation. If you are interested in moving into this class, ask your coach for an evaluation. If you are serious about making this your competitive sport, weekly lessons and Open Range time are encouraged in addition to your class.

Our club $235 annual membership fee and a USA Archery Adult or Family Membership is required for participation in any of our archery classes including Open Range and private lessons. Equipment rental is available for $35/month. You must be a Nova club member to enroll in the classes. One hour JOAD and Adult classes are $135/month. One and a half hour JOAD 2, Adult 2 or Team Artemis classes are $185/month.
