Beginner Fencing Classes

No membership needed.

Make Nova Fencing Club your home for fencing.  Our Beginner Fencing Classes are for  youth, families and adults, who would like to learn Olympic Sport  Fencing.  Start with our Beginning Fencing Classes and progress into our Developmental Fencing program, and from there you decided if you would like to be on a Competitive or Recreational path.

DEVELOPMENTAL 

DEVELOPMENTAL FENCING

After your Beginning Fencing Class is completed, enroll in Developmental Fencing .  Refine your core movements, footwork and blade work. Class meets 3 out of 5 weekdays/ week.

RECREATIONAL

RECREATIONAL FENCING

Continue to fence and improve with warm ups, drills and bouting. Be a part of the club, get a good workout and meet new friends.  Class meets 3 out of 5 days a week. Saber or Epee.

COMPETITIVE

COMPETITIVE FENCING

Make fencing your sport! The focus of this program is on continuous improvement. Work 1-to-1 with your coach with one to two private lessons per week. Attend local, regional, national and international tournaments.  5 days a week.

Adult Invitational

Join a fabulous group of adult epee fencers for class with Coach Amy Orlando as she breaks down fencing tactics in this 1.5 hour class. 3x week. Coach's invitation is needed to join.

Drop-in for saber or epee bouting.  Membership required for frequent visitors. Guests please call ahead.
