Competitive Archery camp with bob Ryder

Do you want to improve your scores?

Join us for a one week indoor competitive archery camp with famed archery coach Bob Ryder. 
​This camp will focus on the Mental Game.
 Learn and complete goal setting exercises  • Learn how to better prepare for tournaments

"Our Goals for the participants in this 5-day camp will be to 1) Improve shooting Form & Execution and 2) Help each Archer Develop their own Mental Game in an effort to prepare them to compete at a higher level.  Coaches and Instructors will offer instruction in a variety of areas designed to improve each Archer's Competency in Technical Knowledge, Physical Conditioning, Sports Psychology, Training Methods, Competition Strategy, Personal Development, Rules & Procedures, and Media & Public Relations Skills... especially as it relates to the sport of archery."

About Bob Ryder  
During his tenure as Head Coach at JMU, the James Madison University Archery Team produced:
  • 14 World Champions
  • 16 National Champions
  • 23 National Team Titles
  • 42 All-Americans
Now retired as Head Coach, Ryder currently serves as Assistant Coach of the JMU Archery Team.

Professional:
  • 2011 Recipient of the Maurice Thompson Medal of Honor,
  • 4-time National Collegiate Archery Coach of the Year,
  • NAA Level 4-NTS Coach, a Level 3-NTS Coach Trainer, Level 2 Instructor Trainer,

  • past member of the US Archery Team,

  • Tournament Director for over 50 National ArcheryChampionships, including National Indoor, Target and Field Championships,
